HIS Power Screen Warranty Statement

Each ClearView Powerscreen is custom built to exacting specifications and is installed by factory-trained professionals.  We expect your purchase to be one that will last you a lifetime and we will make every effort to ensure your satisfaction.

ClearView Powerscreens come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all aluminum and nylon components. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser, whose name appears on the warranty certificate.  This warranty applies only to residential installations and is non-transferable.  The word “defect(s)” as used in this warranty, is defined as imperfections that impair the functionality of the retractable system.  Implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the terms of this warranty.

This Limited Lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, scratching, corrosive atmosphere contaminants, lightning, windstorm, tornadoes, flooding, fire, modification, vandalism, negligence or any other act of God, or other causes beyond the control of the manufacturer or the installing dealer/distributor.  Also not covered are changes in the powder coated finish which may take place with the passage of time.  In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for direct or indirect loss, consequential damage, or any other claims except as provided for in this Warranty.

The Warranty will not cover the cost of labor, applicable taxes, shipping or other consequential expenses related to the removal, return, or reinstallation. 

This warranty supercedes any and all stated or implied warranties.

5 Year Motor Warranty

Motor Manufacturer offers a 5 year warranty on all motors and controls.

Specifically, manufacturer warrants its motors and controls to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of 5 years commencing with the date stamped on each unit. If the motor fails within 5 year period motor manufacturer will repair or replace it free of charge.

This warranty does not cover collateral costs such as shipping or installation.

10 Year Fabric Warranty

Fabric Manufacturer guarantees fabric to free of defect for a period of ten years from installation date.

This warranty does not cover collateral costs such as shipping or installation.

Labor Warranty

Home Improvement Specialists provides a 1 year labor warranty from date of installation to facilitate all manufacturer’s warranties.  This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, scratching, corrosive atmosphere contaminants, lightning, windstorm, tornadoes, flooding, fire, modification, vandalism, negligence or any other act of God, or other causes beyond the control.
