HIS Retractable Screen Warranty Statement

Each Clear View Retractable Screen is custom built to exacting specifications and is installed by factory-trained professionals. We expect your purchase to be one that will last you a lifetime and we will make every effort to ensure your satisfaction.

The Screen Pro’s, Manufacturer of the ClearView Retractable Screen System(s), require that each Retractable Screen System must be professionally installed by a qualified service technician or dealer/distributor and cannot be altered in any way by the end user.

The Screen Pros provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all parts and mechanisms on all of its retractable screen systems to be free of defects in material and workmanship. This Warranty expressly excludes the screen mesh and mesh components. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser, whose name appears on the warranty certificate. This warranty applies only to residential installations and is non-transferable. The word “defect(s)” as used in this warranty, is defined as imperfections that impair the functionality of the retractable system. Implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the terms of this warranty.

This Limited Lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, scratching, corrosive atmosphere contaminants, lightning, windstorm, tornadoes, flooding, fire, modification, vandalism, negligence or any other act of God, or other causes beyond the control of The Screen Pros or the installing dealer/distributor. Also not covered are changes in the powder coated finish which may take place with the passage of time. In no event shall The Screen Pros, Inc. be liable for direct or indirect loss, consequential damage, or any other claims except as provided for in this Warranty.

The Screen Pros will replace any part of its retractable screen system found to be defective in workmanship or materials without charge to the “purchaser” as specified in the Warranty.

The Warranty will not cover the cost of labor, applicable taxes, shipping or other consequential expenses related to the removal, return, or reinstallation.

This warranty supercedes any and all stated or implied warranties.

Home Improvement Specialists provides a 1 year labor warranty from date of installation to facilitate the Screen Pro’s lifetime warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, scratching, corrosive atmosphere contaminants, lightning, windstorm, tornadoes, flooding, fire, modification, vandalism, negligence or any other act of God, or other causes beyond the control.

Retractable Screen Systems are not designed or intended to provide security for, or retain persons, animals or objects either in or out of your home.
